Watson, is a member of our firm
and has been engaged in the practice of law since 1998 in Kansas and
Missouri (1999). He received his Juris Doctorate, cum laude,
in 1998 from the Washburn University School of Law, Topeka,
Kansas. During law school, David, was a member of the Washburn
Law Journal and authored “Be it Enacted by the People of the State of
Kansas - Is it Time for Kansas to Adopt Ballot Initiatives?” 37 W.L.J.
383 (1998). Following law school, David was a Law Clerk to the
late Judge Robert J. Lewis, Jr. of the Kansas Court of Appeals.
David’s practice areas include Appellate Practice, Criminal Law,
Landlord Tenant, Consumer Protection, Bankruptcy, and Contract and Real
